Teeny tiny buttons sewn onto a teeny tiny doily framed in teeny tiny Tramp Art.

Tramp Art is a traditional American art form that was made from about 1880 to 1930. It likely had German roots and was made by creative Hobos who may have shared ideas for the decorative carving of layers of scrap wood (cigar boxes, fruit crates and the like) while sitting around campfires.

This button sampler (and all its components) were designed and made by Ilisha Helfman of Hestia House and LEAFpdx.
