The original Cycloid Mini came in two versions. Both were small enough to fit on a bookshelf. They had a limited range of gears but were still capable of a lot of variations.
The goal of the Cycloid Mini's was to make it easy to use. Gone are the 15 gears and 3 turntables used in the big Cycloid machines. The Mini's fulcrum slide and penholder still allow for near infinite possibilities, but with less frustration.
The Cycloid Mini's biggest downside is the small size of the drawings: only 4-inch diameter paper can be used. The Cycloid Six uses 6-inch diameter paper for drawings that are over 200% larger than the Mini.
